The Fife Care Academy’s Career in Care event took place on November 20, 2024, at the St Brysdale campus in Kirkcaldy, drawing an impressive crowd of over 340 attendees. The event provided an opportunity for individuals interested in healthcare careers—such as nursing, adult social care, and social work—to explore job vacancies and connect with potential employers.

Representatives from Fife Council, NHS Fife, as well as Third and Independent sector organisations, were present, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

One of the event’s highlights was the simulation room, designed to mimic real-life community healthcare scenarios. This innovative space allows students pursuing health and social care courses to practice their skills in a realistic, homely setting.

Mark your calendars for the next Career in Care event on March 5, 2025. More details will be shared closer to the date.
