The important work being carried out to support veterans across Fife was highlighted during a visit to Rosewell Centre last week (14 October).
David Barratt MSP visited Veterans First Point Fife in Lochore to learn more about the service and the support it provides to local veterans.
Also on the visit was Lynne Garvey, Director of Fife Health and Social Care Partnership, Councillor Rod Cavanagh and Councillor Rosemary Liewald who have both been longstanding supporters of Veterans First Point and were involved in the work to establish the dedicated veterans' centre.
Veterans First Point Fife works closely with third-sector partners and local mental health services to help veterans access safe, trauma-informed and joined-up care, support and treatment.
The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the work of the Veterans First Point team and the contribution they make to supporting veterans in Fife and gave those who attended the chance to hear more from peer support workers Dean McMinn and Kenneth Nesbitt.
Lynne Garvey said: "A huge thank you to everyone at Veterans First Point Fife for the important work you continue to do supporting veterans and their families across Fife. The visit gave us a chance to hear first-hand from the team about the invaluable work being carried out."
