Tarvit ward staff at Adamson Hospital in Cupar were delighted to receive an impressive donation of £2000 recently.

The money was raised by Paul Watson, who completed the Middlesbrough half marathon in March.

He ran it to raise money to say thank you to Tarvit staff for the care and support they gave his dad Brian Watson whilst he was an inpatient and for the work they did in facilitating his safe discharge home.

Helen Caithness, Senior Charge Nurse, said: "We were surprised but delighted to receive the donation from Paul. It's a real recognition for our staff of the hard work they do for people who come into the ward and we really appreciate Paul's amazing fundraising efforts."
