Free support is only a phone call away this festive season from Fife Health and Social Care Partnership’s The Well service.
The Well is a free service for anyone in Fife aged 16 and over. It offers friendly, practical support from Health and Social Care professionals to help you stay well and independent.
Staff will listen to what matters to you and guide you to the right local help, community link workers, benefits advice, and other local health and care services.
The Well supports people in a range of ways including to:
- Find local groups and activities
- Get guidance on physical and mental health
- Apply for a community alarm
- Complete forms
- Seek housing or benefits advice
- Connect with local services or health professionals
- Explore support organisations and
- Access help for carers or those experiencing bereavement.
Although The Well drop in service will pause for the festive break, The Well phone line (03451 551500) will be open 1pm–3pm on the following dates for anyone who needs it:
- Monday 22 December 2025
- Tuesday 23 December 2025
- Monday 29 December 2025
- Tuesday 30 December 2025
Normal opening hours for the drop in service will resume on Monday 5 January 2026.

And to make the service more accessible and inclusive, three Community Led Support Wells have relocated for 2026 to the following community venues:
St Andrews Well — St Andrews Hospital — Tuesdays, 10am–12pm
Glenrothes Well — Rothes Halls (Foyer) — Tuesdays
Cowdenbeath Well — Cowdenbeath Leisure Centre — Thursdays, 10am–12pm
