We estimate there are around 44,000 unpaid carers and 6,500 young carers in Fife. Their care helps people to stay well and at home, and the difference they make to our communities - and to the health and social care system - is immeasurable.

It's essential that carers not only feel recognised but also supported. That's why we have launched our Annual Unpaid Carers Experience Survey, giving unpaid carers the opportunity to share their experiences and needs. For the first time, young carers are also invited to take part and tell us how caring impacts of their lives.
