International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world on May 12th, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth. It provides us with an opportunity to recognise, acknowledge and celebrate all Nurses for all you do all year round. Nursing is a highly- skilled, safety-critical profession, you are experts, you are leaders. The dedication provided by each and every Nurse to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care to our populations from birth, through childhood and adulthood is vital to the health and well being of the citizens of Fife.
