Head of Complex and Critical Care
For more than 25 years, I’ve worked across Local Authority settings including the Health & Social Care Partnership, with a clear focus on making sure people in Fife get the support they need, when they need it most.
While working full time and raising two young children, I went back to studying and I graduated at 42 with an Honours Degree in Health and Social Care, something I pursued to strengthen my ability to influence how care is delivered across our communities.
I’m passionate about ensuring people receive the right care in the right place, especially at their most vulnerable moments. It is a privilege to be the Head of Complex and Critical Care Services, and to lead teams who share that same commitment. Together, we work across hospital settings and people’s homes to deliver safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care, with a strong focus on seamless transitions and fair access for all.
Collaboration is at the heart of how I work. I’m a firm believer in evidence‑informed improvement and in the power of strong partnerships across health, social care, and the wider community to ensure individuals, families, and communities in Fife experience care that is compassionate, responsive, and truly effective.
