Redesigning Community Support Services

A priority for Fife’s Health and Social Care Partnership is to ensure that people with complex and critical care needs who require health and social care services are getting the right care at the right time and in the right place – and that we have the right services, to meet those needs now and in the future.

A redesign project for Fife Community Support Services for Adults with Disabilities has been established to enable us to do this.

For the first stage in the redesign process, we are embarking on engagement sessions with current service users, families, carers, and staff to understand what they think about the current support and how we can improve on this. We’ve also established a working group with key stakeholders to help support this work.

Following these sessions, we will review all the feedback and can then bring forward options of what the service could look like for further consideration.

Everyone is different and everyone’s needs are different, and we want to ensure we capture the views of all those using the Community Support Services and families and carers that will help to inform a redesign, which supports better health and wellbeing outcomes now and in the future.
