For many carers the practical help they want is to be pointed in the right direction so that can help themselves. This carers week we are delighted to announce that we have added a new partnership with Carers UK to our wide ranging network of support in Fife. Carers UK offer a digital resource for carers that allows them to access online help and a truly comprehensive support resource. It complements the information on the new the Health and Social Care carer website. www.fifehealthandsocialcare.org/carers/.
The carers digital resources includes an up-to-date set of resources to help carers including information and access to online training and support. It also offers carers the opportunity to create their own personal ‘circle of care’ around the person they care for through free access to ‘Jointly’. This innovative resource helps carers share their caring and keeps everyone involved up to date and in the loop. Accessible on a computer or while you are on the go through a smartphone, jointly can help bring peace of mind and give confidence that everyone is up-to-date with the latest caring situation.
Fife’s Health and Social Care partnership has partnered with Carers UK to provide access to all carers in Fife, free of charge as one of our universal offers of support. Look out for more information about our other partnerships in the coming few days as we continue to celebrate Carers Week.
