Teams from across Fife’s health and social care services are working round the clock to keep essential services going.  With reports of severe weather coming, services have been preparing and contingency plans have been put into action to ensure all essential services are covered.

Michael Kellet, Director, Fife Health and Social Care Partnership said:

“When severe weather hits, staff always take into account the weather conditions and go above and beyond to keep services going.  This includes working closely with our partners and service providers across the voluntary and independent sector to keep people safe and supported.  Where needed we are in contact directly with service users and their families.  With recent warnings and the cold icy conditions set to continue, we will keep monitoring the situation.  In the meantime, a huge thanks to all our dedicated staff across health and social care for going the extra mile to ensure people are kept safe and looked after.”
